Tuesday 10 May | 11AM | GPAC Theatre on stage
The MSO has something for every member of the family – with concerts designed for the littlest of audience members as well as their accompanying adults. Go on the road with the MSO as we take a musical trip through some of the best classical music ever written. This is the kids’ chance to get rowdy, get on board, and get up close to the music of a world-class orchestra.

Conductor Nicholas Bochner will be there to introduce audiences to each of the instruments and musicians, and to explain what makes this music so special.

Pierce Brothers
A Gippsland fave, Pierce Brothers hit our epic theatre for the first time.
Saturday 7 May | 8PM | GPAC Theatre
For years now twin brothers Jack and Patrick Pierce’s high energy duo Pierce Brothers has been a staple of the Australian indie-folk/ blues & roots scene, captivating festival goers and headlining sold out venues the world over.
Exploding onto the world stage in 2014, the brothers started their journey as buskers on Bourke street (alongside other incredible busking acts Tash Sultana and Tones and I), and soon became a must-see act selling out 3 Corner Hotels with the release of their breakout EP The Night Tree in 2014.
Shortly after, on the back of the success of The Night Tree, the pair played their first European set at Lowlands Festival in 2014. Soon the Melbourne duo began a steady journey building audiences and selling out shows all over the world, supporting artists the likes of The Cat Empire, St. Paul and the Broken Bones, Tones and I, and Tash Sultana just to name a few.
Having established themselves as an integral part of the music scene in Australia and abroad, the brothers have toured relentlessly – honing their craft and gaining fans across the globe as they go. The band’s music has grown with them over the years and has seen them release a top 15 ARIA debut album (Atlas Shoulders, coming in at #13) and two Top 10 ARIA EPs (The Records Were Ours and Into The Dirt), and have received over 30 million global streams.
The pair recently lived out their dream of headlining a maxed-out Forum Theatre in their hometown of Melbourne, before taking on a massive world tour, headlining venues all over the globe, playing arenas supporting Tash Sultana, as well as massive AAA festivals in North America, Europe, and Australia.
During the 2020 lockdown the boys retreated into the studio for 6 weeks and created their most ambitious record yet, completing their as yet untitled sophomore album entirely self-funded and releasing 100% independently early 2021.
In 2021 they will be appearing at Bluesfest Byron Bay shortly after the release of Into The Great Unknown, before setting forth on their biggest Australian regional tour to date. Returning to venues in all 7 states & territories after spending 2020 in lockdown and most of 2019 touring North America and Europe.

Regurgitator
These Aussie legends are heading our way with great mates, The Fauves.
Saturday 9 April | 8PM | GPAC Theatre
We’ve heard a few stories about Regurgitator ripping out set or two in Traralgon back in the day. Now they’re heading back our way with great mates, The Fauves!
Formed in March 1994…core members Ben Ely and Quan Yeomans started the band as a side project to the bands they had going at the time - Pangaea, Zooerastia etc but quickly became the ascendant project. Regurgitator was an approrpiate moniker to describe the assembled mass of styles, sounds and attitudes, fueled as much by an unmitigated irony and geekish nature as an irreverent take on themselves, corporatisation of culture and human social behaviour.
Never ones to compromise or shy away from the unusual, the untried, or any genre that infects their creative sensibility… more than ever they continue to infuse their irregular live performances with exuberance, mania and their mashedup motion of rock, punk, electro, funk, pop, where ever it goes vibe.

Regurgitator’s POGOGO SHOW
Regurgitator… but for KIDS! YIPPEE!!
Sunday 10 April | GPAC Theatre | 11AM
Renowned Brisbane mashup rock/electro/punk/poppin’ fun time outfit Regurgitator have cooked up a sugar-soaked record written especially for kids and are bringing it live to GPAC!
This new project sees long-time Regurgitator trio Ben Ely, Quan Yeomans and Pete Kostic joined by the effervescent Koko direct from Planet Rainbow. It’s already struck a chord with families around the country – with the POGOGO SHOW album having quickly climbed to #1 on the Children’s iTunes chart.
The band’s wildly-varied roller coaster of sounds will come as no surprise to long-time fans. From the slinky hip-hop stylings of first single ‘The Box’ and the elastic hop-scotch energy of ‘Pogogo Show Theme’; to the punk rock mania of ‘Pillow Fight’ and tropicalia fun of ‘Corumbo’, young listeners will enjoy the spin of the musical wheel.
The band have never been more excited: “We’ve got our tiny amplifiers warmed up, our teeny drum kits tuned and plenty of soap for our filthy little mouths. We’re ready to shout till our voices are wrecked, if you’re ready to scream till your parents are deaf!”
The ‘Gurge are here to bring a smile to long term fans and the tiny folk in their lives.

Cadd and Morris
There are some truly beautiful entertainment bromances.
Saturday 12 March | 7:30PM | GPAC Theatre
The lifelong friendship of Brian Cadd and Russell Morris should have its own name...Brussell.
Australian music icons, Brian Cadd and Russell Morris, have been friends for over forty years and have been touring together from time to time over the past decades. are back after a seven year break to perform a limited amount of shows.
Together, Brian and Russell deliver a dynamic show of not only their hits: Little Ray of Sunshine, Ginger Man, Don’t you know it's Magic, Sweet Sweet Love, Wings of an Eagle, but also a selection of seventies rock classics that will have you singing along with them. They may arrive on stage as 60-year old mates but they turn themselves, and their audience, truly back to 20-year old rockers.
“It is rare and enjoyable to spend ninety minutes on the stage every night with someone who has travelled the same musical road and number of years as I have. It makes the musical highlights, the songs and the silliness all that much more fun. Come and see what we mean!” - Brian Cadd
