Returns
It is important that items are returned to the library on time, so that other members are able to enjoy them. You can borrow or return your library loans to any branch. During library hours, items should be returned to the front desk. After hours, you can use the returns chutes at each library.
To avoid suspension of your library membership, you should renew or return your library items within seven days of the due date.
The due date for all library loans is displayed on the receipt that you receive when the items are checked out or renewed. If you don’t know when your loans are due, you can contact the library (in person, by phone or email). Or you can log into the library catalogue and see the due date in your library account
Email reminder
You can opt to receive a reminder email four days before your loans are due for return by providing your email address to the library.
Overdue Notices
You can choose to receive library notices by Email, SMS or post. Contact the library to confirm your current mobile phone number and email address and to setup your preferred notification method.
If an item is more than seven days overdue, you will be sent a first reminder notice. If you are more than 40 days late, you will be invoiced for the replacement cost of the item plus a processing fee. It you fail to return the items on receipt of this invoice, your account will be referred for debt collection.
