Introducing cloudLibrary NewsStand

You can now access thousands of digital magazines using cloudLibrary NewsStand.

Getting Started
  • Go to: https://cloudlibrary.magzter.com/ or download the cloudLibrary NewsStand App on your device from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. 
  • Click "Login" in the top right-hand corner, or click on a magazine thumbnail then click on "Login to Read”. Enter your email address and password and click "Login" 
  • If you don't have an account, create one by clicking on "Not Registered? Create an Account". 
  • After entering your name, email address, and password, in the drop-down list, select "Australia", then select "Latrobe City Libraries". 
  • Enter your Latrobe City Libraries Library ID (barcode number) and PIN. 
  • If you already use cloudLibrary for ebooks or eaudiobooks, a new tile “Magazines” will be visible at the bottom of the home screen. This tile will allow you to browse and read magazines via an internet connection, but will not allow you to download a title to read at a later date.
  • To download magazines, you will need to use the NewsStand app.

PressReader includes newspapers and magazines from over 100 different countries in over 60 different languages. You can read online after logging in with your library membership number or download the app. 

 

The Age Library Edition

Read The Age Library Edition free with your membership. Here's how you get reading:

  1. Click the link and log in in with your library card and password/pin number.
  2. Scroll down to The Age and click the link.
  3. Choose the year at top, month at left and issue in the centre of screen.
  4. You can also use the search box at the top.
  5. To read an issue, simply tap it.

 

Print magazines

For all you traditionalists, the library continues to subscribe to over one hundred print  magazine titles which you can borrow by visiting your local library.
