Brad Cox: Yarns and Yodels
A very special stripped back, acoustic country music show inspired by the solo days of lockdowns past.
Friday 17 March | 8pm | GPAC Main Theatre
Brad Cox is excited to announce he will be performing two special solo theatre shows this March. The shows titled Yarns and Yodels will take place in regional Victoria.
Inspired by more than 50 sold out solo shows Brad performed during lock down, he will be taking to these theatres stages to perform Coxy favourites, new and old, as well as road testing a few songs from the upcoming record.
Brad says, “After stripping back the show to an acoustic, sit down, solo setting during lockdown, I fell in love with the format again. It forced me to re-learn songs and play them as they were written. Me, some wine and my woes with the world - that’s the formula for good songs.
“I enjoyed it so much, and now that we have toured the full band circus extensively (and will continue to do), I wanted to recreate these shows, but take it one step further and out of the pubs and into intimate theatres."
Join Brad and special guest, Sammy White for an evening of yarns, songs, and yodels!
