Metropolitan residents who own rural property in the Latrobe city are being urged to arrange a contractor to prepare for the risk of fire and flood.

The Latrobe City Customer Service Centre located at Council Headquarters, 141 Commercial Road Morwell, will reopen to the public this Wednesday 21 October.

Latrobe City Council has received notification that the proponent of the Used Lead Acid Battery (ULAB) Recycling Facility proposed for Hazelwood North, Chunxing Corporation Pty Ltd, has made an application to the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT) to review the decision of Council to refuse to grant a planning permit.

Notice is given that at a meeting of Latrobe City Council (Council) held on 7 September 2020, Council resolved to adopt a new Local Law titled ‘Local Law No.
