Hard waste collections will commence in November 2024. Allocated dates for each township are confirmed in the list below.
Latrobe City Council’s free hard waste collection service is ONLY available to residents who live in declared garbage collection areas which have a kerbside Bin Collection regardless of whether you own or rent your property.
Hard Waste items must be placed on the nature strip outside the front of their property for collection at the nominated time for their town.
Please note elected start date may take several weeks to be collected.
No bookings are required for this service.
Residents of Latrobe City can purchase an additional at call collection outside of the normal area wide collections that occur once a year at a cost of $137.20 per collection; plus $28.16 each for mattresses/bed bases.

Hard and Green Waste Coupons
Residents are still able to use the Hard and Green waste coupons issued with the 2024-2025 rates notice at any Latrobe City Council Transfer Stations in Moe, Morwell Traralgon and Yinnar South.
Each coupon allows the free disposal of up to one cubic metre of general hard waste OR up to one cubic metre of green waste.
All green waste must still be taken to PineGro Green Waste Recycling Facilities in Morwell, Moe and Traralgon.
