Capital Works

The Footpath Replacement Program  and the footpath missing links program are  taking place across various locations in the municipality. (Ongoing) 

Stage 1A includes construction of water and sewer reticulation, a sewer pump station and Lot 1 and 2 of a 47-hectare industrial subdivision including utility servicing, earthworks, engineered fill, storm-water drainage, and wetland construction. (Estimated Completion Date:  November , 2024)

Spray reseal road works at varying locations across the municipality. 

• Reconstruction of Marshalls Road and Traralgon - Maffra Road intersection, Traralgon; Construction of Signalised Intersection including drainage, kerb and channel, road pavement reconstruction. including construction of new turning lanes, shared path, traffic lights and major utility services relocation's. (Estimated Completion Date: December, 2024)

• Loch Park Road Reconstruction; Road reconstruction from Kay Street to Henry Street including installation of underground drainage, reconstruction of kerb and channel, concrete crossovers and full depth pavement reconstruction.  

• Scrubby Lane, Traralgon; Tree Removal and Final Seal 
   

• Traralgon Railway Reservoir Upgrade, Removal and reinstatement of material on the Dam wall and upgrade of the existing spillway including the existing bridge. (Estimated Completion Date: November, 2024)

• Demolish and rebuild existing preschool to increase the capacity by adding an additional classroom. (Estimated Completion Date: April, 2025)

• Drainage, concrete and asphalt renewal works at carpark between Supercheap Auto and Middys, Traralgon. (Estimated Completion Date: November, 2024)

• Various Locations across the Municipality (Estimated Completion date: Mid Decemeber, 2024)

• Construction of an additional level of parking to the Hotham and Seymour Street Car Park which will result in up to 110 additional spaces at the facility.  (Estimated Completion Date : November 2024) 

• Resurfacing of 18 courts and line marking for 8 pickleball courts at Traralgon Tennis Association. (Estimated Completion Date: Mid December, 2024)
