Mayor of Latrobe City Council, Councillor Kellie O’Callaghan said she encourages families to enrol their children in kindergarten when they are eligible.
“Council offers great kindergarten facilities, run by friendly and experienced staff. Come along and see the facilities for yourself on Tuesday 2 May,” said the Mayor.
“There are many benefits to your child attending kindergarten, such as increasing their social skills, improving their development, language, literacy and numeracy skills.
“Families also benefit from their children attending kindergarten, as they have the opportunity to meet other families, create community connections and access other community services.”
