“Electricity Safety (Electric Line Clearance) Regulations 2020”
Notification of Street Tree, Power Line Pruning Maintenance.
Latrobe City Council will be conducting street tree / vegetation pruning within the residential area of Moe/Newborough (Block 03)
Works are scheduled to be conducted between 14 October 2024 and continuing within Block 03 until approximately 15 November 2024
The area will include:
Moe/Newborough (Block 03) Boundaries:
- North – South from Old Sale Road to Council Boundary
- West - East from John Field Drive to Council Boundary
This vegetation maintenance is required for Latrobe City Council to achieve compliance to the Electricity Safety (Electric Line Clearance) Regulations 2020.
This street tree pruning is a legislative requirement. All works conducted will be undertaken in accordance with best Arboricultural practice methods and in accordance with Australian Standards AS 4373-2007 (Pruning of amenity trees).
Changed traffic conditions and minor delays could apply while these works are underway.

The area will include:
Morwell (Block 04) Boundaries:
- North – South from Council Boundary to McDonald St
- West - East from Council Boundary to Holmes Rd
This vegetation maintenance is required for Latrobe City Council to achieve compliance to the Electricity Safety (Electric Line Clearance) Regulations 2020.
