When lodging a planning permit application, you must provide a full current (within 60 days) copy of title for each individual parcel of land of the subject site. Council does not provide copies of title.
They can be downloaded from www.landata.vic.gov.au.
You will need one of the following references for the land:
- Full street address
- Lot plan number
- Volume and folio number
- Council property number (this will be your billing number on your latest Rates notice)
- Crown allotment details
Once the property address is confirmed, select the required certificates. The following information is required by Council:
- Registered search statement (Title)
- Copy of plan (Plan of subdivision)
- Any instrument. A copy of any relevant restriction if applicable (such as a covenant or Section 173 Agreement, or other).
