This multi-purpose building was developed to centralise early childhood services including maternal and child health, childcare, preschool, toy library, meeting space, multi-purpose gym/recreation room, music room and community kitchen.
Moe P.L.A.C.E (people, learning, activity, community, education) is part of the Southside Community Precinct Project – an $11.7M project that also incorporates the Ted Summerton Reserve the South Street Primary School. This is a vibrant community recreation and education precinct which has a direct link to South Street Primary School and is in line with the Latrobe 2026 Community Vision for Latrobe – a place where people feel safe, connected and have a sense of pride in their town.
