Latrobe City Council are offering a FREE Sleep and Settling Program by trained practitioners. Support is available via group sessions, one on one in home support or in our newly opened Day Stay centre.
Our sleep and Settling Programs provide education and support about sleep behaviour for children aged from birth – five years.

Information Sessions
We provide monthly educational group sessions available to all families in Latrobe City running through the school terms. We provide monthly educational group sessions available to all families in Latrobe City running through the school terms. In each of these sessions we provide the opportunity to ask questions and provide information about:
- Child development and behaviour around sleep
- Helpful information about children’s sleep, and
- How to set your child and family up for healthy sleep
There are three sessions offered:
- Baby Sleep and Settling - 6 to 12 months
- Toddler Sleep and Settling - 1 to 2 years
- Preschoolers - 2+ years

Day Stay is now open Fridays at Moe Place
The Latrobe City Day stay program is a is a warm, inviting space, set up with dedicated sleep rooms. This onsite program provides sleep guidance and support to families by an experienced Maternal and Child Health nurse in a one-on-one setting. The service is guided by evidence-based practice informed by the Sleeping and Settling model of care guide for Victorian Maternal and Child Health services.
