Payment Plan Application

No, the only accepted payment method for this online application is via Council’s Online payment system available on Council’s Website or over the phone via debit/credit card.  The link and any further information will be provided in the confirmation letter from Council.

Payment plans are assessed on a case by case basis, however in most cases the minimum accepted payment amount is $10 per fortnight or not less than a total of 16 fortnightly instalments (8 months) (whichever is more). For example if your infringement total is $100, $10 per fortnight will equal 10 fortnightly payments.

If your infringement total is $500.00 the minimum required payment would be $31.25 per fortnight.   Proof may be required for assessment of extreme hardship cases.

Upon receipt of your application Council will assess your application within 5-10 business days.

Council will post the outcome of your application to your nominated postal address.  Due to possible delayed delivery times, delivery times may vary.

You application may have 3 different outcomes.  

• The first outcome is that your application is approved as requested;
• You application may be approved subject to changes or conditions (e.g. a higher fortnightly payment, a request for further evidence to confirm current circumstances; or
• Your application may not be approved.

All outcomes will be advised of in writing and posted to your nominated address.

You payment plan may be defaulted if you have missed a total of 2 fortnightly payments.  If you plan is defaulted you will be notified in writing and the full payment of each infringement will be required within 3 weeks of the default notice.
