Our Organisation

We have a Chief Executive Officer (CEO), who is appointed by the Council (nine councillors), and has the responsibility to implement the decisions of the Council.

To assist the CEO in this role, and to ensure effective management and the delivery of efficient services to the community, an organisational structure with four General Managers has been put in place.

The council has an operating budget of approximately $130 million and employs 840 full-time equivalent staff to provide the range of services required by the community.
