Register as a Stallholder for the 2023 Children’s Expo

Media Release

Latrobe City Council are excited to celebrate the region’s up and coming younger generation in October this year at the Latrobe City Children’s Expo.

The Expo will be held on Thursday 26 October at Kernot Hall from 1 to 6pm as part of National Children’s Week.

This is a not-for-profit event that is free and fun for families of Latrobe City.

Thousands of people are expected to attend the Expo to find out more about local services for children and families.

Mayor of Latrobe City, Councillor Kellie O’Callaghan said it is a fantastic opportunity for families to connect with the region and discover what is on offer locally for children.

“There are so many services and activities for children in Latrobe City to enjoy, and they will be showcased in one location at the Latrobe City Children’s Expo 2023,” said the Mayor.

“At Council, we are passionate about cultivating a successful and positive future of our younger generation. The Children’s Expo brings together a showcase of our comprehensive resources, services and activities that exist solely to improve the lives of children in Latrobe City.”

Registrations to become a stallholder at the event are now open. Stallholders who offer the below are encouraged to register:

  • Quality goods or services to suit families with young children.
  • Fun and engaging entertainment options to suit a young audience.

The Mayor encouraged relevant local businesses to consider registering and getting involved.

“If there are any local businesses whose primary target audience is children or families, I’d highly recommend they register as a stallholder to bring their product or service in front of the eyes of potential customers.”

Registering is an easy online process. All money raised from stallholder registrations goes towards the cost of running the event.
