Noticeboard - 27 March 2023 Edition

Mayor's Message

Our community and visitors to the  region can look forward to lots of school holiday fun over the coming weeks.

From 1 to 22 April, a range of fun, free and low-cost school holiday activities will be held across Latrobe City Council’s libraries, leisure centres, early learning centres and creative venues through the Stay Local program.

This is a fantastic time to make the most of what’s on offer. We are proud to provide such diverse activities for our youngest community members and their family and friends over the school holidays.

This is a great opportunity for our younger residents and visitors to our City to enjoy something new, learn a new skill and have fun.

We aim to make our facilities as accessible as possible and create opportunities for fun, learning and connection. Although the activities mainly cater for young people, some things will appeal to all ages.

This includes a rocky road workshop, easter egg hunt, lego and movies through our libraries. Gippsland Performing Arts Centre will be showcasing Mr Stink and On by Circa.

Our leisure facilities have intensive learn to swim programs and Latrobe Regional Gallery has interactive workshops on offer.

For more information about the Stay Local program, visitwww.latrobe.vic.gov.au/staylocal

Bookings are required for most activities, so please check the details before visiting to avoid disappointment.

Also don’t forget to make the most of Latrobe City’s skate parks, playgrounds, rail trails, lakes and waterways and National Parks too!
