Mayor's Message

We know many of our community members have been eagerly awaiting the news of hard waste collection dates across Latrobe City.

Dates are now locked in across the region beginning at the end of February through to April, with Toongabbie and Traralgon South underway this week.

All residents that currently have kerbside collection are eligible for the service and no bookings are required.

This is a new process following community feedback to make the service more accessible. By providing the collection this way all eligible residents, both those who rent

and those who own property, can participate.

We thank the community for their patience as we have rolled out this new service and look forward to seeing many of our community members participate.

For more information about hard waste including town dates and what can and cannot be collected please visit: www.latrobe.vic.gov.au/hardwaste

Hard waste collection is one of many services Council provides through waste management including kerbside collection, e-waste management, transfer stations and

street sweeping. Council is proud to provide these services to ensure our City remains clean and tidy while also managing waste in ways that support our environment wherever possible.

Cr Kellie O’Callaghan

Mayor of Latrobe City Council
