Mayor’s Message
Council is pleased to have released our 2023/24 Draft Budget for the community to review.
The 2023/2024 Draft Budget focuses on delivering quality services to the community through a combination of existing programs, new initiatives and capital works.
This includes key projects that have been identified to meet community needs such as Stage One of the Gippsland Logistics Precinct, Traralgon Recreation Reserve Recovery Projects and finalising Stage Two of the Moe Revitalisation Project.
This process is integral to the overall functioning of Council and ensuring that we deliver our commitments through the Council Plan.
There is still time for community members to review the Draft Budget and make a submission by 5.00pm this Friday 5 May. The Draft Budget is available on yoursay.latrobe.vic.gov.au/budget and in hard copy at Council service centres.
Anyone who makes a submission will also be invited to speak to Council as we gather to hear submissions at a Special Council Meeting on Monday 15 May 2023.
