Latrobe City is home to 125 public playspaces, which include a range of activities like nature play, water play, active play, combination units and custom built items.
Their provision, distribution and hierarchy are guided by the Latrobe City Play Space Strategy and the Play Space Improvement Plan (Link to ‘Plans’ page).
Each year, Council renews a number of these existing playspaces and when funding becomes available new play spaces are constructed or upgraded.
This year, the following playspaces well undergo some work:

- Kay Street, Traralgon
- Burnside Drive, Morwell
- Jarrah Court, Traralgon
- Hennessy Street, Moe
- Murphy Crescent, Traralgon
- Sunderland Circuit, Traralgon
- Hallston Street, Newborough
- Pollock Avenue, Traralgon
- Anderson Avenue, Yallourn
- Beattie Crescent, Morwell
- Ray Street, Traralgon
- Southdown Way, Traralgon East
