Kids Clay and Play is a fun session that incorporates getting creative in the studio and enjoying nature.

Kids Clay and Play is a ceramics class held on the second Saturday of the month at The Palette & Kiln Studio, situated in the bush land of Glengarry North.

During this class little potters learn simple ceramic techniques to create sculptural objects among new friends. The classes include, scavenging for natural objects to incorporate in their design, discovering the kinesthetic qualities of clay and learning through experimentation.

The session finishes off with a little walk in the bush, that safely surrounds the studio and picnic with fresh fruit and a play.

These classes are broadly aimed at ages 6 to 12 but we trust that you know your little potter and if they are keen and capable and a bit younger (or older) that's Ok too.

All materials and snacks are provided. Parents are welcome to drop of and pick up or get comfy in the studio.
