This is the 24th Classic Singles where some of the best bowlers in Australia compete with local Latrobe City bowlers. Australian representatives Aaron Wilson and Ben Twist head the field comprising a dozen leading interstate bowlers. The past four years have resulted in the final match being won by one shot with a score of 25 - 24 demonstrating how competitive the games are.

The 96 players are split into 32 sections of 3 playing either Monday or Tuesday. Section winners return on Wednesday for three rounds of knock out play with the last four players returning on Thursday for the Semi Finals and Final.

Spectators are welcome and refreshments are available to purchase.
