Council’s current clean up program includes:
- Work across approximately 443 locations (400 roads and 43 open space areas).
- Five Contractors assisting through Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements to focus on clearing fallen debris within rural roads, with internal Tree Maintenance Teams focusing on local road reserves.
Our clean up works priority in order is:
- Hanging limbs within road reserves
- Fallen material within road reserves
- Open space areas (parks and gardens)
Clean up is expected to take around eight weeks, pending further weather impacts.
