What is the Latrobe City Social Inclusion Action Group (SIAG)
The Latrobe City SIAG is made up of community members who understand how being isolated or excluded can impact mental health and wellbeing. This could be through lived or living experience, supporting a person with lived or living experience, or by having a passion for mental health and social connection.
SIAG members will recommend which projects Latrobe City Council should fund through the Community Connection grant. These projects should increase connection and inclusion within Latrobe City.
SIAG members also understand that Latrobe City is unique. By understanding the strengths and needs of Latrobe City, they will make suggestions to help the projects work for everyone in our community.
By increasing the opportunity for connection, SIAG aims to improve mental health in Latrobe City.
