Most burglaries and thefts are opportunistic. Don’t make theft easy! When you lock up your stuff you can easily and simply avoid becoming a victim of crime.
Checklist:
- Lock all doors and close all windows every time you leave the house.
- Secure your keys and other valuables.

- (sub-heading/bold) If a crime has already occurred:
- If a crime is happening now, or if it’s urgent - like if your car is being stolen or home burgled, call triple zero.
- If you suspect or witness a crime, alert local police, Crime Stoppers and your neighbours. A supported community is a protected community.
