The free Indigenous Plants of Latrobe City(PDF, 5MB) revegetation guide provides comprehensive native plant lists for the four planting zones in Latrobe City; flooding riparian flats, dry foothill forest, plains woodland and damp forests. It can be picked up in hard copy format at any of service centre.

Council tree planting activities
Council plant in excess of 10,000 plants every year to offset our fleet vehicle emissions. The planting is made up of local indigenous species, one quarter trees and three quarters understory plants. Planting locations are planned to enhance our waterways, to protect and enhance existing remnant vegetation and to improve the connectivity of our native vegetation which provides important movement corridors for our wildlife. Some planting activity is done on National Tree Day, but most planting is through our revegetation programs on select creeks and waterways in Latrobe City Council.
