When is a Traffic Management Plan required?
A Traffic Management Plan (TMP) will need to be developed and submitted to Council prior to undertaking works or conducting events that may disrupt the regular operation of Council’s road reserves and in particular impact road users by affecting the flow of traffic (including motor vehicles, cyclists and pedestrians).
Roads not Managed by Council
For works that are on a road that is managed by the Department of Transport (DoT) formerly known as VicRoads, consent must be obtained from DoT.
All traffic management plans for DoT roads within Latrobe City Council can be sent directly to DoT’s Eastern Regional Office (Traralgon).
