To maximise everyone’s enjoyment at the Facility, visitors must behave in a safe and responsible manner at all times and abide by these Conditions of Entry. By entering the Facility, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
- Admission to the Facility requires payment of the applicable entrance fee. Pass outs are not permitted.
- Children under the age of 10 years must be actively supervised at all times by a responsible adult aged 16 years or older. Groups will not be permitted where the number of responsible adults supervising children:
- under 5 years exceeds a ratio of 1:4;
- between 5 and 9 years exceeds a ratio of 1:10.
- In facilities containing a pool:
- children under the age of 5 years must be accompanied in the water and within arm’s reach at all times;
- children between 5 and 9 years must be visible and accessible by a responsible adult at all times;
- children who are not toilet trained are required to wear aqua nappies whilst in the pool.
- In facilities containing a gym, the minimum age for access to the gym is:
- 14 years with an instructor present;
- 16 years with no instructor present.
- You must always comply with all laws, regulations, directions and rules issued by government or any government authority or by Council staff while in the Facility or on surrounding Council property.
- You are required to follow the directions of Council staff at all times, including but not limited to during an emergency.
- General rough play or unsociable behaviour is not permitted for safety reasons. In facilities containing a pool, no hard balls, bombing or flips are allowed.
- You must not behave in a way which:
- involves inappropriate, indecent or offensive language or aggressive behaviour;
- is disrespectful, interferes with the enjoyment of the Facility, endangers or causes injury to other patrons;
- obstructs or otherwise prevents Council staff from performing their work;
- causes damage to the Facility or any property of Council or a third party; or
- involves interference with the personal property of other patrons without their consent.
- No cameras, live streaming or video recording devices are permitted without written consent from Council. Under no circumstances are cameras, video cameras or mobile
- devices to be used for any form of photographic, video or other recording purpose in the change rooms or toilets, and in the case of relevant facilities, the sauna or steam room.
- You must not leave your personal property unattended other than in a secured locker. To the extent permitted by law, Council accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage to your personal property at the Facility.
- Smoking and/or vaping is not permitted anywhere within the Facility or within 10 meters of any entrance.
- You must not bring any alcohol, drugs, weapons or glass into the Facility. No person may enter while intoxicated or affected by illegal drugs.
- You must wear suitable attire for the activity being undertaken at all times. In facilities containing playing courts, no high heels or work boots are permitted on the courts.
- No animals are permitted in the Facility except for assistance animals within the meaning of the Disability Discrimination Act 1992 (Cth).
- CCTV is in operation throughout Facility for the purpose of enhancing staff safety, public health and safety and protection of property. Footage may be used to investigate incidents and injuries relating to safety, suspected criminal activity and inappropriate behaviour contrary to these Conditions of Entry. All footage will be handled in accordance with the Privacy and Data Protection Act 2014 (Vic) and Council’s Privacy Policy.
- By entering the Facility, you agree to release and at all times indemnify, keep indemnified and hold harmless Council, its staff and contractors from and against all claims, actions, costs (including legal costs, on a full indemnity basis), charges, losses, expenses, and damages whatsoever incurred in connection with or as a consequence of the use of and access to the Facility by you or a minor under your care and control, save and except to the extent caused or contributed to by Council, its staff or contractors.
- Failure to comply with these Conditions of Entry may result in you being refused entry to or removed from the Facility.
- To the extent permitted by law, Council reserves the right to refuse entry to any person or remove them for any reason including if a person appears to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
- Please take note of and comply with any other area specific conditions of entry throughout the Facility.
