The Gippsland Regional Indoor Sports Stadium (GRISS) is a major multisport mecca in the heart of Traralgon.
The venue houses eight courts catering for netball, basketball, badminton, dodgeball and other indoor sports, including a world-class show court with 3000 spectator seats complete with big screen and surround sound speakers for a full stadium experience.
GRISS is capable of hosting large-scale events such as regional, national and international indoor sporting championships, floor shows, expos, E-sports competitions, meetings, professional wrestling, martial arts and much more.
It has a proud history of hosting high-profile events, including: Commonwealth Games basketball, NBL 3×3 hustle games, NBL Blitz (pre-season tournament), WNBL matches, Super Netball games, country championships, the inaugural Australian Netball Championships and much more.
The stadium is one of Basketball Victoria’s seven high performance training hubs and is home to elite pathway programs.
Easy to access and close to amenities, the centre is just one turn off the highway and mere minutes from the Traralgon CBD.
A $19 million upgrade – funded by the Victorian Government – was completed in 2020 to modernise and expand the centre.
