    Latrobe Regional Airport is a large precinct with many businesses and operations being undertaken. The main visitor area is located at the most northern entrance on Airfield road, Traralgon.

    The Latrobe Aerospace Technology Precinct (‘Precinct’) is located in the Latrobe Regional Airport. The Precinct is approximately 150kms east of Melbourne.

About the Airport

Latrobe Regional Airport is one of Victoria’s premier regional airports which provides regional connectivity, employment, tourism, and emergency services to our community.

The Latrobe Regional Airport is conveniently located in Morwell, only 7 kilometres from the Traralgon CBD. There is ample free car parking with drop-off pick up area for private, taxi and rideshare drivers directly in front of the terminal.

The airport terminal is airconditioned, with complimentary Wi-Fi and ample seating for those waiting on their charter flight, fly in-fly out operations or light aircraft operations.

The Latrobe Regional Airport offers a range of commercial and light aircraft aviation operations, these include emergency services through the Helicopter Emergency Medical Service and the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning Aerial FireBase, charter and flight training.

Operators at Latrobe Regional Airport provide tourism facilities for residents in the Gippsland region—tandem skydiving, joy flights, aerobatic flights, RAAF 426 SQN Cadets and private hangars for recreational aviators.
