2026 Enrolments

Enrolments for 2026 three year old and four year old kinder will open on 1 May 2025, and close 30 June, the online kinder registration will be available from 1 May.  Both three year old and four year old kinder will be 15 hours per week in 2026.

Online Information Sessions

There will be two online Information sessions for families where information will be provided around the 2026 kinder year and the opportunity for parents to ask questions – these sessions will be held Thursday, 15 May at 4.30pm and 6.30pm. You can attend whichever session suits you best.  The link will be available closer to the date of this session.

Kindergarten Open Days 

We are hosting open days at all Latrobe City preschools on Tuesday, 29 April and Tuesday, 3 June between 3.00pm and 5.30pm. If you cannot attend one of these open days and would like to view a preschool at another time, please explore the virtual open days below or contact our team at fsadmin@latrobe.vic.gov.au  to make alternative arrangements.

2025 Enrolments (this year)

Kinder registrations for 2025 three year old and four year old kinder are still being accepted and will be offered in order of receipt where places remain available.  Three year old kinder is five hours, one day per week.  Four year old kinder is 15 hours per week.  You can still apply for kinder for the remainder of 2025, please email fsadmin@latrobe.vic.gov.au to arrange to have the registration link emailed to you.

Benefits

Kindergarten programs are delivered by a qualified early childhood teacher. They are designed to improve your child’s development in:

  • social skills, like how to play with other children in a calm, sharing and rewarding way
  • self-awareness and respect for others
  • emotional skills, for example understanding their feelings
