Do you have a passion for musicals and/or plays? Would you like to spend a day being coached by experienced professionals in the industry?
This group masterclass is a unique opportunity for regional performers to gain insight into the professional world of musicals and storytelling through song and performance.
To participate you will need to bring along a selection of no less than three, no more than eight songs, that you know well – and their sheet music, in the correct key. You will not require a backing track, there will be an accompanist.
Alternatively, you will need to bring along a copy of two monologues, on paper - and an understanding of the play or film - from where they come from.
You will be introduced to techniques used by professional performing artists as well as receiving advice on developing a career in the music theatre industry.

Duration: 180 minutes, no interval
Restrictions: For ages 18+ only. Participants limited to 12. Prior bookings recommended. Please come dressed in comfortable clothing you can move in. BYO lunch, snacks, water bottle and sheet music. No need for backing tracks. The workshop will have an accompanist.
