An intimate recital of classical and contemporary piano music, exploring meditative sounds from JS Bach to Nat Bartsch.
Saturday 12 November | 2-3pm | GPAC Theatre
This event is intended to allow the listener to engage in a deep listening experience, and to come to this style music however they feel comfortable to do so. Audience members will be seated on stage around the performer, relaxing in bean bags and chairs, while drenched in low blue light.
Josh Hooke is an award winning musician based in Melbourne, Australia. He performs regularly as a recitalist, concerto soloist and chamber musician throughout Australia, as well as in Europe and the UK. He has studied with a number of eminent pianists, including Ian Holtham, Imogen Cooper in London, as well as Paul Badura-Skoda in Vienna.
