Latrobe Youth offers three leadership programs for young people aged 12 to 25 years who live, work, study or have strong links to Latrobe City. Please click on the links below for more information on these programs.

Latrobe City Youth Council
The Latrobe City Youth Council is a program that provides an opportunity for local young people to meet regularly and express their views on issues that affect them and their peers. Features of the program include leadership development training, guest speakers from a range of groups, regular meetings with Latrobe City Councillors and the opportunity to nominate for positions such as Youth Mayor, Deputy Mayor and Secretary.
Latrobe City Youth Leadership Program
The Latrobe City Youth Leadership Program aims to empower and build the capacity of local young people through a nine-month leadership program. The program covers leadership styles, identifying strengths and personal growth areas, networking with community leaders, investigating career options and making new friends!
Freeza Development Program
The Freeza development program is a group of young volunteers who organise local drug and alcohol-free events across Latrobe City such as dance parties, live bands and cultural events. The program build skills in areas such as event planning and management, advertising and promotions, risk management and liaison with the music industry.
