Community Engagement process

Latrobe City recognises that it is important to liaise with the community regarding operations of the landfill and understand issues that are important to the local community.

Community engagement process:

Regular project updates to residents of Latrobe City through media releases;
Dedicated Latrobe City officers to answer telephone enquiries or meet you in person;
Latrobe City Hyland Highway Landfill Consultative Committee;
Newsletter informing the community of operational progress and activities of interest regarding the landfill.
