Southern Towns Recreation Plan

The Southern Towns Outdoor Recreational Plan provides a policy position and clear directions for the provision of outdoor recreation facilities in the Southern Towns in line with Council’s 2021 vision.
The following outdoor recreation facilities in the Southern Towns have been included in the consideration of recreation in this community:

• Boolarra Memorial Park
• Callignee Recreation Reserve
• Hazelwood South Reserve Churchill
• Gaskin Park Churchill
• Andrews Park West Churchill
• Flynn Recreation Reserve
• Hazelwood North Reserve
• Warren Terrace Hazelwood North
• Traralgon South Recreation Reserve
• Yinnar Recreation Reserve

The development of this plan has involved significant consultation with the community and Council to develop a clear set of recommendations for the future benefit of the community.
The Plan was adopted by Council on 15 June 2009.
