Study assistance from your library

Need help with your homework?  Need a place to work with fewer distractions?  Need access to reliable resources?

Latrobe City Libraries invites you to attend an information session about study assistance available at your local library. The session will focus on services that students of all ages can access via the internet, such as YourTutor which is an  online study support centre,  Encyclopedia Brittanica Online, and the ANZ database which includes Australian newspapers and magazines.

Sessions will be held at 3:30pm on the following dates

  • Moe Library, Monday 21 May.
  • Morwell Library, Tuesday 22 May.
  • Traralgon Library, Wednesday 23 May.
  • Churchill Library, Thursday 24 May.

Pre-School Storytime

Pre-School storytime is a free program for children aged between 3 and 5 years. The sessions involve stories, music, and poetry followed by a craft activity. Our storytime sessions aim to encourage a love of books and reading from an early age.

Reading to your child is an important part of their early development as they learn listening, memory and vocabulary skills.  Sessions run at the following times, except in school holidays:

  • Churchill: every Wednesday at 11:45am
  • Moe: every Wednesday and Friday at 11am
  • Morwell: every Tuesday at 11am
  • Traralgon: every Tuesday and Thursday at 10:30am and 11:30am

AfterSchool Storytime

Traralgon Library runs an afterschool storytime session every Wednesday at 3:45pm, except during school holidays.
